All the Single Ladies

When I read M’s post yesterday, I realized, I have been super bad about my updating of Summer Lovin’.  Here’s a brief recap post Winky the Third…

The highlights (aka - the weirdos)

(1) “Keanu Reeves day-trader”:  Within 10 minutes of meeting this ADHD schizo, I realized he was high - or at least I hoped he was high. I kept laughing at myself and him hoping for the date to be over -but after my sixth beer, I decided to jump on his motorcycle, ride around Manhattan, go back to his apt, drink more beer, watch him smoke out - and have one of the sloppiest make out sessions since I was 16.  Overall, not prince charming, but definitely one of the most fun dates I’ve been on.

(2) “How bout we slap each other”:  Met this guy, with the same name as my favorite brand of whiskey, on the dating side “How About We…” where I replied to his date idea of meeting in a dive bar and playing the slap game with each other.  I pregamed the date (per-usual) with my 3 good guy friends who then walked me to my date and dropped me off like I was their daughter going to her first day of schoool.  We bar hopped through the east village, slapped the shit out of each others hands, and then he proceeded to talk about his junk which at this point I could see he wasnt wearing underwears and was pretty well-endowed.  We made out on a street somewhere and have been known to send each other 3am texts for the past couple weeks.

(3) Taco Tim and Pauly D:  Two bad date locations.  Taco Tim took me to bodega that serves tacos in Hells Kitchen (which I love) but not a good first date place.  Pauly D (from Jersey) took me to “if you like to drink beer, I should take you to the oldest bar in Manhattan” aka McSorleys which I only like to go to with my Irisih bartender friend and is NOT a place you take a girl for afterwork drinks on a Monday on a first date….

There have been so many bad first dates in the last two months that I’m getting pretty discouraged…but I must fight on…and I’ve found two bonings in the last month, so not too bad.  I’ll report on those stories later…oh and the story of my TWO DATES WITH DIFFERENT BOYS IN ONE DAY story - where I felt so Charlotte in that one episode.
