AND IT CONTINUES So remember when I said that I didn’t think I’d ever hear from Marshall again because duh the guy couldn’t get away from me fast enough? SPOKE TOO SOON I GUESS. Last night I got a text from him saying that he was sorry he hadn’t gotten back to me earlier (I never contacted him after Monday, btw—was considering it, but figured it might not be worth it) but that he’d been sick the past two days and he had fun meeting me and would like to see me again. So I’m not the social pariah I was afraid I was! Because I was getting worried. I have a theory about Marshall, and it is that he either dated someone for a really, really long time and has no idea how to date, or never really dated anyone and thus has no idea how to date. About two hours was probably all the energy he could put into meeting someone new, especially if he’s as shy as he claimed to be in his email. Of course, I could be totally off base and have made all of this up. I’ve been known to do that. So, okay. Giving the guy a second chance, but not texting back until tonight because I’m very busy and popular and important. Just kidding! I think we all know that’s not true. About me being busy and popular and important. I plan on texting back tonight though. Also, I’m now also sick. Coincidence! -A
